ABOUT US
Tucked away in the heart of Ohoka, 25 minutes from Christchurch, is Brown Dog Pottery. We are a fully mobile business, setting up for pop-up painting workshops in locations across Canterbury and at your event spaces. You can see HERE if we are coming near you next.

For our 'Paint your own' workshops we have everything from ‘fluffy’ cups for the little ones to a new favourite coffee mug for your kitchen. And, if you really want to take it up a notch, you can even select some beautifully moulded vases or statement serving platters.

Chief maker and paint pourer, Harriett, will be the one to guide you through the pottery painting process and hopefully teach you a little, along the way. Harriett’s easy-going personality and love of art will help you to feel inspired, and comfortable, while painting.

Worried that you’ll have to take home a not-yet-dried pottery piece? Don’t worry, we take all of your designs back to the studio for glazing and firing them in the kiln, they are ready for you to collect in typically around 7-10 days, so you don’t have to worry about the mess.
